2003 Colorado Award for Remodeling Excellence
The CARE program is presented by the Remodelors Council of Metro Denver of the Home Builders Association of Metropolitan Denver. It is the largest awards program in Colorado which focuses exclusively on the remodeling industry. Each year this program recognizes excellence in design and construction of residential and light commercial remodeling and renovation projects.
A jury of professionals in the remodeling and renovation industry selects the winners. There is no minimum or maximum number of awards for each category. Judges selects winning entries based on:

- Strength of design ideas
- Aesthetic and market appeal
- Sensitivity to existing structure
- Appropriate use of existing building elements
- Compatibility with the neighborhood
- Functional value and cost effectivenes
Remodeling contractors, architects, builders, developers, planners, kitchen and bath specialists and other remodeling professionals may submit entries. Joint entries are encouraged to recognize the remodeling team.
